The insurance company allows 4 sensors a month. With the cost of replacement sensors this is the best option. My child can usually get 2 nights out of a sensor tape but the sensors last along time with some care. The best financial advise is to buy these replacement tapes.

Was exactly what I was looking for my son goes throughthe pulse ox tape like crazy and we o my get 4 a month for replacement through our home health care. Was a great puchase.

The pulse-O2 sensors can last for weeks, however the tape may last one-two days.  Cannot tell you how many times an  entire sensor (costs about $15) gets discarded simply because of a worn or dirty adhesive tape.
