We had a Nonin 9500 and thought it was superior to any other brand.  Before ordering the 9590 Finger Pulse Oximeter, we purchased another brand from a medical supply store.  After two months, we ordered another Nonin.  The difference in quality is immediately apparent and it responds more quickly and consistently.

This is an excellent, easy-to-use oximeter that tracks very accurately with the one in my doctor's office and the one attached to my CPAP machine.  My only wish is that it somehow recorded the data and could transfer the readings to my computer via bluetooth or usb port.

It works great.  I have congestive heart failure and had atrial-flutter but I find it very difficult to take my pulse.  This device helps by giving me an accurate reading of my pulse.
